In this life, we must understand that believing in Christ is a decision. God doesn't force people to follow him. There are many reasons why we do not want to make this decision. One of the biggest reasons is our personal experiences in life. Another is the knowledge we have attained within the world. There are doubts and even those of us who want to shape our lives in ways we want. Meaning we want to be in control of how our stories are written.
We have faith in ourselves or other things that are within the world. What is faith? Well, Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." I have met many different people in my life. And many of them believe in various things but they all have explained "having faith" as confidence in something. You have to decide to trust in that something.
Why should we trust in God and that his words are true?
Well, that's more simple to explain than you would think. Romans 1:20 "For since creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his enteral power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so people are without excuse." There you have it, we can see that God is real we just make the decision not to believe it's that simple.
Plenty of research has been done to show that God is real. There are books, articles, testimonies, historical evidence, and more. Some people will say, "They don't believe because the bible was written by men." Hold on... But everything we have that has ever been recorded has been made by man and God? Excuse me for my confusion did you not read and learn in school using books that were made by men and women?
Let's see what the bible has to say about this? 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness," Let me be so ever bold and blunt. The word of God is made by God through those he chose. Look at all the tools we use to create and destroy things. Would you say that the tools are alive and made themselves or that what they create or destroy was made by them, excluding the man or woman who put in the work for or with that tool?
If you do then you know that what you are saying is foolish and if you say that your reason for not believing in God is because there is no proof or because the bible was made by man then you might want to reflect on everything you believe and do research. As for those who are now thinking about starting a relationship with God please message me and set up a bible study.
